“It is not an adding on, but a taking away.” Patti Smith
We come into the world naked with the Logos at our core. From this point forward we begin to add on, to augment our being in order to exist in the world; a reflection of the physical body as addition to Spirit. We are light and begin at the top of one side of the V of evolution. As we add on we become ‘heavy’ and this ‘weight’ is the force that brings us down the evolutionary V. The ‘weight’ of the world, like the boots on the feet of moon walkers, or the breath in the lungs of a pearl diver, allow us to move within the material realm. When we begin our ascent, it is this weight we release, like the pearl diver releases the air from their lungs as they rise to the surface, pearl in hand. And this system is at work on humanity as it is on the individual. If it feels as though we’ve bottomed-out, it may be true; this means we, the people of the earth, have arrived at the turning point, that point when the sunset becomes the sunrise. Time to let go of all we needed to get to where we are so we can begin the divine ascent to the peak, the other side of the V of evolution, the final vertex of this epoch of the evolution of consciousness and the Divine Plan.
