Coincidence? I Think Not…

The transparency of the U.S. government’s manipulation of the people through the media reminds me (minus the innocence) of a child covering their eyes in an attempt not to be seen. As the U.N. announces it’s request that the U.S.A. close Guantanamo, there is an incident there.

“This illustrates to me the dangerous nature of the men we have detained here,” said the detention center’s commanding officer, Navy Rear Adm. Harry Harris, describing Thursday’s attack.

These manipulations of the U.S. public opinion by the U.S. government are not new. Remember the Maine? Pearl Harbor? The Gulf of Tonkin? September 11th? A conspiracy doesn’t always entail a cabal. Sometimes in means taking advantage of a situation, e.g., the Maine.

What does it matter if Guantanamo stays open or not? If the U.S.A. responds to the United Nations? It means that the U.S. is admitting that it, as a country, can be held accountable for it’s actions in the world just the same as Iran or the Palestinians are. Taking responsibilty for our country’s actions and behavior in the world is of upmost importance if we as a global people wish to evolve together. After all, we share this place called earth. And, yes, we as human beings are evolving still, physically and spiritually. Let’s stop lying to ourselves…
