She returned to the States from Central America where she’d spent close to a decade. The USA was different. The atmosphere was different. Her mother was ill. On her way to visit her she saw cars with bumper stickers that said "REMEMBER." This filled her with joy. Maybe that’s what it was: the people were finally waking up. Later on, when she saw her aunt, she said, "Wow, it’s so great, I saw all these bumper stickers that said ‘REMEMBER.’ I am so glad people are remembering that we are all one, that all separation is an illusion, that we are love." Her aunt laughed, "Those bumper stickers aren’t about that, they’re about September 11th."
